The Evergreen School Chess Tournament Information & Registration

 Schedule:
CHECK IN REQUIRED! 8-8:30 a.m. Players not checked in by 8:30 am risk first round forfeit! Tournament play will start at 9:00 am.
Entry Fee:
$18.00 ($16.25 + $1.75 online convenience fee)

By March 18 or until tournament is full. Registration limited to 230 participants. The Kindergarten section is limited to 36 participants due to space constraints. We will hold a short wait list once full. Pre-registration required - no on-site entries.

No refunds – please let us know about cancellations as soon as possible to help players on the wait list. Day of tournament cancellations should call (206) 330-9645 by 8:15 on March 20 to help our pairings director – thank you!

 Credit Card payments are preferred and encouraged.

Mailed in checks are also accepted. IMPORTANT NOTE: Mail-in Payments must be postmarked no later than 3/13/2010. Late entries may be returned unopened. Please proceed with online registration even if you plan to mail-in your payment.

Format:
G/30 5 Round Swiss: 3 sections: K, 1-3, 4-6; NWRS rated, State Qualifier.

G/60 Quads, K-8. NWRS rated. The quads will be determined by NWRS or other (if necessary) rating. Longer time controls (G/60 SD, 5 second time delay) will help players prepare for Nationals. Please bring clocks.

Awards:
Kindergarten Section: All kindergartners will receive a trophy.
G/30 Swiss: Generous individual & team awards for overall and grade level.
Quads: Awards for all quad players.
