5 Round NWSRS Rated State Qualifier Division
This is a 5-round Swiss format, G/30 open NWSRS rated scholastic division having Kindergarten,
1-3, 4-6 and 7-12 sections. Round 1 begins at 9 AM. Check-in between 7:30-8:30 AM.
‘Sweet 16’ Grade-level Invitational Division
This is a 4-round Swiss G/60 invitational dual-rated scholastic division. The top 16 USCF rated players from each grade form their own section and play one another other. Round 1 begins at 8:30 AM. Check-in 7.30-8.00 AM. For more details and eligibility, please see web site.
‘Sweetest 16’ Adult Invitational Division
The top 16 USCF rated players from the State of Washington are invited to play in a 4 round Swiss format, followed by ‘Final 4’ semifinals and Championship Finals blitz rounds in front of an audience at 7 PM. Please see www.confluence.net/chess for details. Cash prizes for Final Four.
Parents’ tournament
Parents whose child(ren) is participating in the scholastic divisions are eligible to participate.
4-round G/30 Swiss. Unrated. Prizes for top 3 winners. In addition, top 3 families with highest combined score of parent and child will win ‘Chess Family’ trophies.
Deadline: Registration ends on March 14th or earlier if full.
Important Notes:
1) Please make sure to be on-time. Late players will forfeit Round 1.
2) Some sections may be combined if necessary.
Entry Fee: 18.00$ (16.75 + 1.75 online convenience fee) – No refunds. Pre-registration required.
